🐛 Bug & Glitch Reports: Please include your browser name and version (e.g., Chrome 128, Safari 18), your operating system (macOS, Windows, iOS, Android), and the specific game where the error occurred. Screenshots or console error snippets are immensely helpful.
🏆 Scoreboard Disputes & Fair Play: If you suspect a score on our global leaderboards was achieved using speed hacks or memory tools, please provide the player handle, the game title, and the approximate date. We review Firestore telemetry and will purge non-conforming entries.
🕹️ Game Design Suggestions: If you have an idea for a retro pixel mechanic or want to see a classic genre adapted to Makecade, we welcome your thoughts!
🔒 Privacy & Data Removal: To request deletion of a pseudonym or leaderboard score associated with you, email with subject "Data Erasure Request" specifying your handle.

Quick Troubleshooting FAQ

🎮 My score did not show up on the global scoreboard?

Makecade scoreboards connect live to Google Cloud Firestore. If your score did not appear, verify that your browser is not blocking WebSocket traffic or that aggressive tracker-blocking extensions are not disabling Firebase endpoints. Scores typically update within 1-2 seconds of submission.

🔊 Why is there no sound when the game starts?

Modern web browsers enforce strict autoplay policies requiring user engagement before allowing Web Audio synthesis. Simply click or tap the game canvas once, and audio synthesis will activate automatically.

📱 Can I play Makecade games on mobile touchscreens?

Yes! Games like Space Ninja and Invert include responsive touch overlays with virtual D-pads and on-screen action buttons when loaded on phones or tablets.
